My name is Maud Edmiston, founder and Managing Director of the Miss Maud Hospitality Group (Miss Maud) and a former Bulletin/Qantas Business Woman of the Year. For the last 30 years, I have presided over the Miss Maud Group comprising an inner city boutique style Swedish Hotel, Restaurant, 17 Pastry Houses in Perth city and suburban shopping centres and a Bakehouse facility that operates 24 hours a day, six days a week. Miss Maud employs up to 500 people.

I have attended many diverse seminars, training courses and business related programmes, throughout my business career, and encouraged and paid for my employees to do the same.
The Alpha Training Seminar, conducted by Peter Heibloem and his son Peter, stands out as the most practical, easy to apply and impacting programme I have ever attended.
Recently, I attended this programme in Perth, with a cross section of my Managers and Staff, together with five members of my family. I can say, without exception, that every participant went away feeling empowered, motivated and inspired by what they had learned about using more of the “power of their minds”.
I first attended this programme 12 years ago. At that time, around 100 of my staff and friends attended with me. The impact upon our organization was very powerful and enduring. When Peter’s programme returned to Perth, we decided to re-attend.
I believe this programme has the potential to enhance the values and aspirations I have encouraged in my employees over many years. I would like as many of my staff as possible to attend this excellent programme in the future.
The techniques taught on stress management, memory training, goal achievement and enhancing communication were particularly powerful. I found the techniques involving developing intuition, creativity and self-esteem very inspiring and motivational.
I commend Peter Heibloem and his son, Peter on their superb presentation style and the excellent programme and trust this will inspire others to attend this Alpha Training Seminar.
